The Punta de Mita Foundation
This group's aim is to enhance the quality of life for the people and communities in the Punta Mita area. This is a resident-led, community-based organization dedicated to assisting the communities of Punta de Mita to become good places to live, do business, work and raise families.
The Foundation provides capital, technical expertise, training and information to support local leadership, better education and facilitate sustainable economic development. The Punta de Mita Foundation sees the big picture. They know that by revitalizing old neighbourhoods, investing in education, public safety and housing, it will invite economic development. Punta Mita's breathtaking landscape is what draws people to the community, so protecting its natural beauty and the environment is always a focal point for the Punta de Mita Foundation.
Costa Verde International School
Costa Verde International School is a new and progressive bilingual primary school. Its new state of the art green building is under construction and will be located in neighbouring Sayulita. Children aged preschool through grade 6 will benefit from a curriculum that is focused on teaching art, culture and environmental sustainability. The Cost Verde International School is community-oriented, multilingual, multicultural, accredited, ecological, private educational institution. The curriculum at Costa Verde International School is highly personalized to engage each student in developing their natural inclinations and talents.
Riviera Recicla Regional
Riviera Recicla Regional's objective is to coordinate the efficiency and development of comprehensive recycling and environmental educational programs throughout The Riviera Nayarit and by supporting the sale of recycled products.
Casa Comunidad
Casa Comunidad is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children and adults develop the necessary skills to be successful, positive contributors to their multi-cultural, bilingual community. Casa Comunidad is part of a broader non-profit organization called PEACE (Protection Education Animals Community Environment).
